As the incidence of arrhythmias in pregnancy continues to increase, anesthesiologists who care for obstetric patients should be experts managing arrhythmias in pregnancy. This article examines the most common arrhythmias encountered in pregnancy, including risk factors, diagnosis, and management strategies. Peripartum monitoring and labor analgesia recommendations are discussed.
