During the procedure, she was not wearing protective eye goggles. Ocular examination showed a round whitish lesion at the foveal region with visual acuity of 20/400. The left eye was unremarkable. She was treated immediately with a suprachoroidal injection of triamcinolone acetonide delivered with a custom-made needle. Suprachoroidal triamcinolone for alexandrite laser-induced macular burn.
