An NCD specializing in urological surgery was launched based on the NCD system in 2018.</p><p><strong>Methods: </strong>All urological surgeries performed at more than 1000 institutions were registered from 2018. We herein report the number of surgeries conducted as stipulated in the \"Certified Urology Surgeon Training Curriculum\" between April 2018 and December 2021.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>A total of 1 377 677 cases were registered from 1185 facilities nationwide under the initiative of the Japanese Urological Association. Background: The Japanese National Clinical Database (NCD) is a large-scale, nationwide, web-based data entry system that covers the majority of surgical cases performed in Japan. An NCD specializing in urological surgery was launched based on the NCD system in 2018.
