Among the surgical techniques used for addressing dentofacial malformations, the Le fort I maxillary osteotomy remains a workhorse surgical technique; however, significant complications can arise. One of the most serious complications is a pseudoaneurysm that results from injury to a terminal branch of the internal maxillary artery.
