Duel of Germanists: The debate between Elemér Moór, Elemér Schwartz and Walter Steinhauser about the population history of Burgenland

In this paper I focus my attention on the debate between three renowned Germanists of the interwar period: Elemér Moór, Elemér Schwartz and Walter Steinhauser. Their discussion of the population history of Burgenland can serve as a case study of knowledge production.
