New cassane diterpenoids from the seeds of Pterolobium macropterum
Three undescribed cassane diterpenoids were isolated from the seeds of Pterolobium macropterum. The structures of these compounds were elucidated based on the extensive spectroscopic techniques. All isolated compounds were evaluated for their efficacy on the lipopolysaccharide induced nitric oxide (NO) production in BV-2 microglial cells. Compound 1 could significantly inhibited the production of NO with IC50 value of 7.18 ± 0.40 μM.
