Study of a Surface Layer of the Ploughshare Saturated with Boron Using Electric Arc Hardening
Abstract
The saturation of a surface layer with boron using electric arc hardening has been studied. The boron carbide powder has been used as a boron-containing element. The studies have been carried out using microscopic images of ploughshare samples and spectral maps of photographic data for carbon, boron, and iron atoms.
