In this model, wind farms are the sole energy source for PTX production. As an example, the costs of transporting power-to-X (PTX) products NH<sub>3</sub>, MeOH, liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC), and Fischer-Tropsch diesel from Chile (Haru Oni) and Morocco (Tarfaya) are determined. These costs are compared with those of hydrogen production at three domestic locations with very good to very moderate wind conditions in the order Dornum (North German coast), Senftenberg (Lausitz), and Ludwigshafen (Rhine Graben).
