The use of Arista AH as a local haemostatic agent in distal splenopancreatectomy: report of two cases

Bleeding is still one of the most feared intraoperative and postoperative complications that can lead to an increase in morbidity, mortality, length of hospital stay and costs. Nowadays, in addition to accurate surgical techniques, several local haemostatic agents are available and can be used in case of oozing bleeding.
