Comparative Analysis of the International Experience of Providing Public Information and Personal Data Protection on the Example of the USA and the EU

The public information provision and personal data protection on the example of USA and the European Union affects the quality of freedom of information and public information provision. The role of information in ensuring access to public information is discussed. The main mechanisms and tools that the state and society use in terms of freedom of information are highlighted. The research objectives included the analysis of the existing infrastructure of public information provision and personal data protection in the USA and the EU, public information, freedom of information, the use of proactively published information by administrative bodies, and the quality of public information provision in this regard.
