Firstly, it introduces the current development status and challenges of renewable energy, then focuses on the application of power electronics technology in wind power generation systems, solar power generation systems, and other renewable energy systems. Through the analysis of related literature and case studies, the important role of power electronics technology in improving the efficiency, stability, and reliability of renewable energy systems is summarized. In wind power generation systems, power electronics technology improves generation efficiency through variable speed control and power regulation and plays a crucial role in grid connection and fault protection. In solar power generation systems, power electronics technology is mainly reflected in photovoltaic inverters and Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology, effectively improving solar energy utilization and system stability. Additionally, power electronics technology has also achieved significant results in other renewable energy systems such as geothermal and ocean energy generation.
