Or more briefly it is the process of selecting someone to occupy a certain leadership position. This election is conducted with a period of 5 (five) years, in accordance with the term limit of office of state leaders and people's representatives. In Indonesia alone, elections have been held 13 (thirteen) times, but in its application there are often problems. Often there are election disputes due to different views on a provision that occurs between leadership candidates and fellow leadership candidates, or because there are certain public reports of a law in elections. Election disputes are the subject matter that is always challenged to the Constitutional Court.
