Many of the proposed systems use high techniques, complex programs, and an intractable interface, and besides their complexity in programming and using, they still at a high cost. The paper proposes a simple and low-cost Automated Storage and Retrieval System using Arduino boards to control the whole system. This work has been studied on specific sites, which are Chemicals Warehouses and Central Refrigerators. The system has been designed and implemented based on two components, Hardware and Software. The proposed system determines the types of goods, pick them up and put them on the suitable shelve depends on its type.
