For the scale adaptation study, a sample of 251 university students (184 female, 67 male) was used. The exploratory factor analysis of the scale development study involved 346 university students (277 female, 69 male). The confirmatory factor analysis of the same study included 289 university students (227 female, 69 male). Data collection instruments included “The Need Satisfaction Perceived Online Scale”, “The Basic Needs Satisfaction Scale of College Students”, “The Self-Disclosure Scale” and “personal information form”. A scale consisting of 12 items and 3 sub-scales was obtained, explaining 57.9% of the total variance. The observed fit values showed good fit.
