Fino–Vezzoni conjecture on Lie algebras with abelian ideals of codimension two

In this paper, we confirm the Fino–Vezzoni Conjecture for unimodular Lie algebras which contain abelian ideals of codimension two, a natural generalization to the class of almost abelian Lie algebras.
