GitHub events triggering the growth of quantity and quality have been identified. Linear regression analysis, Pearson’s, Spearman’s, and Kendall’s correlation coefficients have been used. Hypothesis testing has led to the conclusion that there may be a linear relation between quality and quantity within a certain range of values. Positive monotonic relations and dependency between quantity and quality have been strongly established.
