We present the first case of SETTLE in Croatia.Case Report – A 17-year-old girl with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis was presented with an asymptomatic solitary thyroid nodule. Fine-needle aspiration cytology was suggestive of SETTLE. The patient underwent hemithyroidectomy and immunohistopathology confirmed the diagnosis. There is no evidence of local or distant disease recur- rence at 8 years after surgery. Conclusion – SETTLE should be included in the differential diagnosis of thyroid gland tumors in children and adolescents. Surgical resection is the mainstay of treatment. Due to possible late metastases, a close and long-term follow-up is recommended. 摘要

目的 - 带胸腺样成分的纺锤形上皮肿瘤（SETTLE）是一种极为罕见的甲状腺肿瘤。病例报告 - 一名患有桥本氏甲状腺炎的 17 岁女孩因无症状的单发甲状腺结节而就诊。细针穿刺细胞学检查提示为 SETTLE。患者接受了甲状腺半切除术，免疫组织病理学确诊。术后 8 年，没有证据表明局部或远处疾病复发。结论--SETTLE应列入儿童和青少年甲状腺肿瘤的鉴别诊断中。手术切除是治疗的主要方法。由于可能出现晚期转移，建议进行长期密切随访。
