Air pollution has a very bad effect on the respiratory system. The term scientometrics originated as Russian term for the application of quantitative methods of the history of science, which studies the quantitative aspects of science. This applied study was done using scientometric techniques and software. The Data collection was performed on June 2, 2023 from the Web of Science (WoS) database. The search period was from 1991 to 2023. Data has been analyzed with the help of HistCite Software, chart and graphs have been made with the help of Microsoft Excel. In this study, the most productive authors, top journals, year wise distribution, and country-wise distribution of publication has been analyzed. The highest number of scientific output belongs to USA, China and UK followed by other countries which extensively had a lower rate of publication. Science of the Total Environment journal has been ranked first among the journals published the most articles i.e. 111 out of 2805 articles. 空气污染是全世界的一个重要健康风险因素。空气污染对呼吸系统有很坏的影响。科学计量学(scientometrics)一词起源于俄语,是科学史定量方法应用的术语,研究科学的定量方面。这项应用研究是利用科学计量学技术和软件完成的。数据收集工作于 2023 年 6 月 2 日在 Web of Science(WoS)数据库中进行。搜索时间为 1991 年至 2023 年。数据使用 HistCite 软件进行分析,图表使用 Microsoft Excel 制作。本研究分析了发表论文最多的作者、顶级期刊、年份分布和国家分布。美国、中国和英国的科研成果最多,其次是其他国家,这些国家的论文发表率普遍较低。在发表文章最多的期刊中,《全环境科学》期刊排名第一,在 2805 篇文章中占 111 篇。结果表明,在分析收集到的有关空气污染对呼吸系统影响的研究文章数据时,布拉德福德散射定律并不十分适用。
