Various plants like Boswelliancarteri, Terminalia catappa, Sarcococcasaligna, Cannabis sativa have been investigated for their immunosuppressive activities. Some compounds have also been isolated and examined as immunosuppressants such as manindicins A and B, vaticaffinol, calceolarioside A, periploside A, zerumbone, artesunate, catechol, and stigmasterol.
