Flaxseed mucilage and hydroxyl propyl methyl cellulose were used to make transdermal patches of naproxen sodium. Transdermal patches were made using flaxseed mucilage, whichwas adopted and tested for its impact on patch quality. The solubility, melting point, and partition coefficient of the medication have been determined as preliminary evaluation metrics. Using Franz diffusion cells, the produced patcheswere assessed in vitro for in vitro drug release, folding durability, thickness, and weight fluctuation of the patches. For FTIR and DSC, and a stability analysis, the improved formulation was used.
