The author discusses their response to the Palestinian militant organization, Black September's demand for the release of over two hundred prisoners. Additionally, the militants killed two members of the Israeli Olympic team and took nine hostages in concert with their demands. Refusal of the demand caused the death of all nine of the hostages and five of the militants. The author speaks of their connection to Judaism and the connections, ideas, responses, and relationships the religion has instilled within their life.
