Overloading occurs when an electric motor is used with a load exceeding its normal capacity, which can cause damage and increase the risk of fire. To overcome this problem, maintenance is needed which aims to implement and maintain the electric motor protection system. This method includes theoretical and practical sessions, where knowledge will be provided about basic protection concepts, protection system components, as well as how to organize and apply protection to electric motors. By following these directions you can improve your in- depth understanding of electric motor protection, develop skills in implementing protection systems, and gain the necessary maintenance capabilities. Positive impacts of this industrial internship include the ability to identify overload risks and implement appropriate protection systems. This not only helps optimize energy use, but also increases the company's operational efficiency and reduces damage and production disruptions.
