Furthermore, we found differential acetylation modifications of certain transcripts (ACO, ETR, ERF, PG, CesA, β-Gal, GAD, AMY, and SUS) in AC and Nr fruits which may explain the differences in ethylene production, fruit texture, and flavor during their ripening processes.
