It is a necessity for nursing students to be professionals and to be encouraged to conduct research.</p><p><strong>Aims: </strong>This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of a scientific research education program on the attitudes of nursing students towards research methods.</p><p><strong>Design: </strong>A single group pre and post implementation study.</p><p><strong>Methods: </strong>The sample was composed of the third-year nursing students (<i>n</i> = 196). A questionnaire, and the Scientific-Research-Methods-Course-Attitude-Scale (SRMC-AS) were used for the data collection.
