A new environment, however, can be stressful for parents. This study aimed to explore parents experience of preparing for their infant's repatriation to their local neonatal unit and causes of delays in being transferred.</p></div><div><h3>Method</h3><p>A survey was developed to explore parents’ experiences of preparation for neonatal repatriation. A retrospective audit was conducted to explore reasons for transfer delays.</p></div><div><h3>Results</h3><p>There were 31 reported delays to infant repatriation over an 8-month period. Twenty parent surveys were completed.
