The chemical make-up, nutritional value, ethnomedical applications, and traditional usage of cumin seeds were all covered in this review. The review discussed the isolated and discovered bioactive components evaluated and validated therapeutic qualities in addition to describing the pharmacological properties of cumin based on publications that are currently accessible.
