Acronicta meghala, a new species from Indochina (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae: Acronictinae)

A new species of the genus Acronicta Ochsenheimer, 1816, Acronicta meghala sp. n. is described from Laos, Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar. The new species is similar to Acronicta major (Bremer, 1861) and Acronicta maxima (Moore, 1881). Adults as well as male and female genitalia of the new and the similar species are illustrated.
