The present review summarizes the importance of one of the markers associated with protein translation. eIF4E has a significant role process of tumorigenesis and has the potential to target various molecules associated with Hallmarks of cancer. 摘要
头颈部鳞状细胞癌（HNSCC）包括口腔癌、喉癌和口咽癌。关于口腔鳞状细胞癌（OSCC），已对一组标记物（如 p53、eIF4E、细胞周期蛋白 D 1、MMP-9 等）进行了组织病理学评估，结果显示无肿瘤/手术边缘清晰。eIF4E 在肿瘤发生过程中起着重要作用，并有可能靶向与癌症标志相关的各种分子。最后，本文列举了与 OSCC 相关的研究结果。
