对289例31 ~ 60岁的老年性白内障进行分析，其中卵巢功能不全33例，其中卵巢囊肿行卵巢切除术后出现9例，子宫切除术后出现9例，其他妇产科手术后出现4例，卵巢炎性过程后出现2例，中枢性卵巢功能不全伴绝经期提前发生9例。卵巢激素分泌不足，主要是雌激素分泌不足，在敏感受体水平上，会引起诸如晶状体混浊之类的对合性改变。
