Thermal compatibility is one of the prerequisites in metal-porcelain bonding. Plus, the geometric differences are also accepted as an effect in thermal compatibility. In this study it is observed that the metal framework designs that we used had no effect on the strength of porcelain; however the thermal compatibility of metal and porcelain had an important effect.
