Perspectives of implementation of sustainable development goals in the Southern region of Azerbaijan

The article underscores the critical importance of sustainable development, the goal of which is to ensure the continuation of human life and well-being with a mindful approach to natural resources. Focusing specifically on the Southern region of Azerbaijan, it is noted that the natural conditions of this area provide the opportunity for efficient development of certain sectors of social infrastructure. The Southern region is a significant producer of agricultural products, and also holds potential for the development of resort complexes and tourism.
