On the Path to Mutual Understanding

The article presents some episodes from the history of Russia's relations with the countries and peoples of the African continent, which contributed to the formation of a positive image of our country in Africa. From the time of the colonial division to the present day, Africans have seen and see in Russia an alternative to the West that colonized them, since our country did not have colonies in Africa. For Africans, it has always been an ally in their struggle for independence, since it has itself opposed the West throughout its history.
