This article examines thedevelopment of insurance contract law in Latvia in the light of the entry into force of the renewed law regulating thesecontractual relations, the Insurance Contract Law, in 2018. The main methods used were analysis and synthesis, scien-tific induction and deduction, comparative method and observation.
