Komarova Akademii Nauk SSSR, Moscow, Leningrad, vol. 5(4/6)–5(10/12), 1940–1945; vol. 6(7/12)–16, 1950–1963, preceded by Botanicheskie materialy Otdela sporvykh rastenii Botanicheskogo Instituta Akademii Nauk SSSR, Moscow, Leningrad vol. 6(1/6), 1949. The Journal publishes original papers on taxonomy, systematics and biodiversity of algae, fungi, lichens and bryophytes.
