Resumo: Considerando o pensamento de Linda Hutcheon (1991) sobre o diálogo entre ficção e história como discursos dos constructos humanos que analisam os vestígios do passado no presente, constituindo o método-histórico, discutem-se neste artigo como são construídos e revisados os problemas acontecidos no passado histórico pela narrativa da escritora contemporânea Maria José Silveira no romance A mãe da mãe de sua mãe e suas filhas. Publicado em 2002, o texto de Silveira narra a história do Brasil a partir do século XVI até nossos dias, questionando o passado dentro de um novo contexto, o feminista, representado por uma linearidade de mulheres da mesma família. Com o objetivo de analisar os laços históricos feministas, apoiaremos o nosso olhar investigativo em duas personagens femininas a fim de identificar como ocorre esta percepção no romance histórico.Palavras-chave: história; literatura; autoria feminina.Abstract: Considering Linda Hutcheon’s (1991) thought about the dialogue between fiction and history as discourses of human constructs that analyze the vestiges of the past in the present, constituting the historical-method, we will discuss in this article, how the problems that happened in the past are constructed and reviewed. History through the narrative of contemporary writer Maria José Silveira, in the novel Her mother’s mother’s mother and her daughters. Published in 2002, Silveira’s text narrates the history of Brazil from the 16th century to the present day, questioning the past within a new context, the feminist one, represented by a linearity of women from the same family. In order to analyze feminist historical ties, we will support our investigative gaze on two female characters in order to identify how this perception happens in the historical novel.Keywords: history; literature; female authorship.
