Teachers who have achieved a perfect personality figure have a greater chance of success in transferring knowledge and in the student education process. The need for an ideal teacher figure can be a reference for prospective teachers to develop themselves from the beginning of their education. Based on these needs, this study identified the ideal teacher figure based on the student’s perspective. This research design used a survey research design in the quantitative method. The research subjects consisted of 240 students spread across the East Java, Indonesia. The data collection instrument used the student version of the teacher’s personality test. Analysis of the research data was carried out in a statistical-descriptive. The results showed that the four strongest personalities most expected of students were caring, humble, responsible, and patience. Teachers’ ideal personalities help them provide services that align with students’ self-development needs. 摘要

理想的教师可以反思自我发展,形成适合学生需要的个性。拥有完美人格形象的教师在知识传递和学生教育过程中更有可能取得成功。对理想教师形象的需求可以作为未来教师在教育之初自我发展的参考。基于这些需求,本研究从学生的角度确定了理想的教师形象。本研究设计采用了定量方法中的调查研究设计。研究对象包括分布在印度尼西亚东爪哇省的240名学生。数据收集工具采用学生版教师人格测试。对研究数据进行了统计描述性分析。结果显示,学生最期望的四种性格是关心、谦虚、负责和耐心。教师的理想人格有助于他们提供符合学生自我发展需要的服务。进一步研究的建议是根据其他观点,包括高级教师、学生教师候选人和一般社会,确定理想的教师人格。
