The article is devoted to the study of large-scale migration processes occurring in the modern globalizing world. The problem is the need to create universal mechanisms for regulating the uncontrolled flow of people around the world. Political, economic, demographic, environmental and other problems periodically arising in various parts of the world are the real confirmation of this. According to the authors, in the context of globalization and geopolitical reorganization of the world illegal migration poses a threat not only to social and public security, but also to the existence of some states in the world.
