Application of Project Learning Teaching Method in English Linguistics Teaching

With the rapid development of science and technology in China, the traditional teaching model of English linguistics is not in line with the modern teaching concept. Therefore, the integration of project learning into the teaching of English linguistics has become an inevitable trend of education reform in China. Project learning refers to a student-centered inquiry teaching mode. The project learning method in the teaching process of English linguistics can fully stimulate students' interest and motivation, and help them better understand and apply linguistic knowledge. This paper first introduces the current situation and existing problems in the teaching process of English linguistics, then introduces the connotation and significance of project learning method, and finally discusses the application of project learning in the teaching process of English linguistics, in order to improve the overall quality and level of English linguistics teaching.
