Testing of several samples was carried out to measure the level of exhaust gas emission (opacity) produced by each sample using the Opacity Smokemeter. The results of the research from the addition of diethyl ether (DEE) to biodiesel (B20) were able to reduce the level of opacity. The lowest opacity level was found in the diethyl ether (DEE) mixture of 5%, namely 42.37%.
