Then the factor composite scores are calculated to evaluate the catering industry of each province. The results show that the development of China's catering industry is influenced by management ability, economic development and brand ability; The management ability exerts the greatest influences on the catering industry and the influence of the brand ability is the weakest. It is also illustrated that there is a large gap between provinces; The comprehensive strength of Beijing is the highest and that of Tibet is the lowest.
