We propose an IoT enabled smart traffic light management system which accumulates data from smartphones and other devices in real time in order to estimate and use this information to manage traffic light timers for a smoother flow of traffic. The device is compact and easy to install. The device receives information from a remote server but is fully capable of working offline in case of a network failure with slightly reduced functionality.
