But a limitation of land and its cost becomes a major problem for the installation of land-based large scale solar power plants in Bangladesh. This paper will present the prospect of floating solar photovoltaic systems in the catchment area of Kaptai Dam, Bangladesh and reveal the possible analysis regarding co-location, efficiency, costing of FSPV and research possibilities.
