Child Poverty: a Cross Approach Analysis

: This paper attempts to navigate through various theoretical framework to study poverty in general and child poverty in particular. It focuses on the situation of child poverty across nations and tries to analysis it from the policy perspective. Various concepts and definitions are reviewed on the basis of their theoretical orientations. Monetary approach, focused approach, human-right approach and multidimensional approach is discussed vividly. Multidimensional approach can be considered as an integrated approach which can include various other approaches to its Fould.
