Prospects for distributed generation development in the Russian Federation

Nowadays distributed energy is one of the breakthrough concepts for the development of the fuel and energy complex, however, there are some difficulties and risks for realizing some of its prospects. Thus, it is necessary to consider aspects of the implementation of distributed generation systems in the Unified Energy System of Russia and in isolated energy systems on its territory. The presented work is based on a comprehensive analysis of statistical data and events in connection with the development of distributed energy. Forecasting using dynamic indicators has also been used.
