Nonlinear pulse propagation in dispersion-decreasing fiber studied with frequency-resolved optical gating
We investigate pulse propagation in a dispersion-decreasing fiber over a wide range of input powers both theoretically, and experimentally using frequency-resolved optical gating. Our simulations and experiments verify significant influence of Raman scattering on pulse propagation.
