Two variants are presented, a single Supercell and a cellular type Multicell. The Supercell has been effectively deployed worldwide in point to multipoint fashion. This paper reviews deployment considerations, radiation patterns and the characteristics of the two different cell structures. Performance characteristics of these cells are included: range, availability, BER, reuse and spectral efficiency.
