Level 2 is a familiar charger found in homes and garages use a 240 Vac source. While level 3 is a Direct Current Fast Charger (DCFC) charger which is urgently needed for electric vehicle (EV). This paper will present the results of research on charging a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery using a DCFC buck converter. The converter is dedicated to be a charger of the EV.
