The equivalent circuit of the electrohydrodynamic pumps
The approach to modeling low-consumption electrohydrodynamic superchargers from the point of view of an electromechanical energy converter is considered. A supercharger equivalent circuit is proposed and justified, based on a system of equations of electrohydrodynamic processes in the supercharger conversion zone. Subsequent experimental studies of single stages of an electrohydrodynamic supercharger (with powers of the order of a few watts) confirm the adequacy of the equivalent circuit. The main purpose of such a scheme is to design pump units with structurally combined electrical and hydraulic subsystems, in which operation under optimal conditions or close to them is ensured by the operation mode of the electrical subsystem (high-voltage power converter).
