The interest of the new 400 kV lines and power plants for the southwest of Algeria

From the moment of the creation of the first power station with a small DC network by Thomas Edison exactly in 1879, to date with the achievement of millions of kilometres of network and power plants in 2018, the electrical network is constantly evolving to meet the growing needs for electricity. With this in context, the experience of Algeria is part of the investment of electrical systems, whose length of the transport network passes between 2005 to 2015 from 16778km to 27284km. Our study focuses on the interest of the investments of power systems (lines, power plants and transformers substations) in the southwest region of Algeria.
