The model is nonlinear with hysteresis behavior and its parameters are obtained easily using the manufacturer data sheet. The developed model can be served to investigate the SMA behavior and to design control applications. The simulation results using MATLAB/SIMULINK verified the dynamic model behavior and affirmed the potential of the modeling procedure. Modeling and simulation of SMA actuator wire
